For those walking with the medicine

Something opened — and the people around you are the wrong ones to bring it to.

Integration support and honest health guidance from a physician who left medicine to study ayahuasca inside the living traditions of Brazil.

Who this is for

A plant medicine experience opened something real — and you are not sure who to bring it to.

A therapist or physician who isn't the right person to meet it. Questions about preparation, about the medications you are taking and how they meet the medicine, about what to do with what you saw. You want neither dismissal nor uncritical hype — but a grounded conversation with someone who has spent years close to this world.

This is the kind of question I work with.

The work I bring

A physician's eye, and years inside the tradition.

The medication bridge

A physician's understanding of how pharmaceuticals — especially psychiatric drugs — meet the decision to sit with plant medicine. This is where my deprescribing work and this world intersect most carefully.

Five years inside

Since 2021 I have lived in Brazil, in close attention to ayahuasca and the broader landscape of plant medicine and traditional healing — lived experience, not theory at a distance.

Neither pathology nor hype

I will not reduce what you experienced to a symptom, nor inflate it into a promise. A steady conversation that takes the experience seriously and keeps your wellbeing at the centre.

Honest about scope

What this is — and is not.

This is

  • Integration conversations after a plant medicine experience
  • Independent health guidance, in plain terms
  • Help thinking through medications and plant medicine together
  • Preparation questions, asked honestly

This is not

  • A retreat, or a ceremony
  • A source of ayahuasca or any substance
  • Supervision or facilitation of a ceremony
  • Medical treatment, or a prescription

Questions people ask.

Do you provide or arrange ayahuasca?
No. I do not source, supply, or arrange any substance, and I do not run or supervise ceremonies. This is conversation and guidance only.
I'm on antidepressants and want to sit with the medicine. Can you advise?
This is exactly the kind of question where my clinical background matters. I can help you understand the considerations and what a careful approach involves — while any decision about your medication remains yours and your physician's.
Is this therapy?
No. This is health guidance and an integration conversation, not psychotherapy or a treating relationship.
Can we talk before or after a ceremony I've already arranged?
Yes. Many people come either to prepare thoughtfully, or to make sense of an experience afterwards.
